Walking tours for 2008 are as follows: May 10th at 1PM - "Bring Back Your Memories". Highlights include the stores and faded wall ads set in the 1950s in the midtown shopping district of Broadway. This free tour is sponsored by the BCB Community Bank. Meet PealCollection at 29th Street and Broadway for a great 2 hour tour. Great success! June 1st at 12noon - "Orthodox Churches Walking Tour". Our newest 2 hour tour includes 4 Orthodox churches, Russian and Ukrainian, which will share the traditions as well as an inside tour of these churches. This "free-will offering" tour begins at St. Sophia's at 22nd Street between Broadway and Avenue C. Great success! August 9th at 1PM - "The 8th Street District". A new favorite among the walkers, the 8th Street District tour includes the houses along 8th Street as well as "Lawyers Row", the Bayonne Community Museum and the War Vets Museum. September 6th at 1PM - The "Stephen R. Gregg County Park Tour" with special guest tour guide, Dr. Carmela Karnotusos, a "must see" experience for those who enjoy the park we once knew as "Hudson County Park". OctoberFest Tour- To Be Determined The cost will be $10 per person for each tour unless otherwise noted. Most tours run between 1 and half to two hours long.
